The Gilbert Education Foundation is here to "secure, manage, and distribute the proceeds of gifts to fulfill the Foundation's commitment to excellence in students, educators, and programs within Gilbert Public Schools with an emphasis on literacy, technology and enrichment." At Gilbert Music Matters, we support and encourage their mission and seek for opportunities to help.

March 31, 2010 Message From Gilbert Education Foundation:

Good morning,

Each year, the Gilbert Education Foundation provides grants to Gilbert Public Schools teachers for instructional classroom projects and materials to enhance students' learning. The Foundation's grants this year provided teachers and students with white boards, literacy tutorials, and much-needed supplies.

Gilbert parents have always been willing to go the extra mile to support teachers.

This year Gilbert Education Foundation is launching the Power of One campaign and hopes you will find this an easy way to continue to help our teachers provide creative learning opportunities for our students.

The goal of the Power of One dollar campaign is to raise funds for the Gilbert Education Foundation to continue to provide grants and scholarships on which the Gilbert Public Schools community has come to rely.

With more than 38,000 students, we could earn nearly $40,000 if each of our students could raise just one dollar in support of our programs.

All of us together, doing something small, will turn into something BIG.
